RISE OF NATIONALISM IN EUROPE:
The chapter discusses how nationalism emerged as a force and resulted in major social, economic and political changes in Europe. How nationalism emerged in a country where there were diverse groups and languages and how was the idea of nation-state carried forward by the people are the topics that are dealt with within this chapter.
