They say faith can move mountains. But what should we put our faith in? This is the question this story delicately poses. Lencho is a farmer who writes a letter to God when his crops are ruined, asking for a hundred pesos. Does Lencho’s letter reach God? Does God send him the money?

The diary was her birthday present from her father on her 13th birthday.
In this diary entry, a small and hilarious episode from her school is mentioned where she is asked by her Maths teacher (Mr.Keesing) to do extra homework and write an essay on a very funny topic - Chatterbox because she has been extremely talkative in class.

Summary of Amanda!

Amanda is a poem by Robin Klein. Robin Klein is an Australian poet who has written many books for children. Through the poem Amanda the poet conveys the message that the behaviour of the children should not always be controlled and monitored. Through the girl Amanda the Robin Klein shows how the society expects girls to follow a social code of conduct according to which they are supposed to behave, talk, eat etc and how this can be very restrictive for a child as everyone wants to be free and nobody likes to be chained through certain norms.

Maxwell grew very attached and affectionate towards it and he also describes an account where the traveling with otter became a mess and how he managed it.

Madam Rides the Bus is a story by R.S Krishnasamy whose pseudonym is Vallikannan.
Through Valli in Madam Rides the Bus Vallikannan depicts the curious nature of the children.
The story also shows that how easily children are fascinated by new things and their curiosity doesn’t end without them experiencing the delights of fantasy life in their life. Just as we see Valli has a desire to go on a bus ride and she manages to go all alone. The experience of her first bus ride has been depicted by Vallikannan in a humorous and rambling way.
